Are Natural Vitamin Supplements Good For You?

Are Natural Vitamin Supplements Good For You?

Before we answer that question, there is another more pressing question that really ought to consume our interest. Why is it that previous generations of men and women never suffered the kind of ailments we suffer from? Even if they did, the degree of suffering was much lesser and the rate of recuperation much faster. Yes, stress and lifestyle factors do make a difference. But the real crux of the matter is in their body health. Simply put, they were just healthier than us. Period.

One of the main reasons why we find ourselves in such a sorry mess is the kind of food we eat. Of course, everyone knows all there is to know about fast foods. But what about other foods? We may eat vegetables and fruits, and have the odd serving of sprouts. But, most of us do not take in anywhere near the recommended levels of health giving foods. How then is the body supposed to cope? The new age answer to that question is simple and rather expected – health in a capsule. We’re talking about vitamin supplements!

In the past, vitamin supplements were almost always synthetic. These are over-the-counter pills and powders that you get from the corner store. They are manufactured artificially by a chemist in the lab. True, chemists are ever perfecting the art of manufacturing vitamins that are close to natural vitamins. But these vitamins just do not measure up to natural vitamins. Often, the body recognizes these vitamins as intruders. So, it goes into a frenzy trying to eliminate these intruders and any other impurities that find their way in through these chemically synthesized vitamins. That is why many people experience vitamin burps, color changes and jitters after they take vitamins.

These days, a healthy alternative has been introduced. These are called natural vitamin supplements. Unlike chemically manufactured vitamins, natural vitamin supplements contain concentrated vitamins that are found in natural whole food. They are generally taken from natural sources like vegetables, fruits, grass, grains, sea, seeds, fruits, nuts and so on. Natural vitamin supplements come in various forms: powders, capsules and liquids.

For instance, products like Green Tea, fish oils, garlic supplements and herbal supplements are jam-packed with essential vitamins that keep us healthy and fighting fit. Since the body uses up these supplements more readily, good quality natural vitamin supplements can really make the skin glow, improve mental clarity and keep all the inner functions running smoothly.

Help answer the question about Healthy Lifestyle Art

Why do my energy levels go down?
I go to the gym 10-14hrs a week. I go to martial arts training 6hrs a week. I attend school 42hrs a week. I work 10hrs a week. I eat a lot of food, i intake around 150-200grams of protein a day as well as plenty carbs. I eat a big breakfast lunch and dinner with snacks as well (I am constantly full). I drink 8 cups of water. I get 8hrs sleep or more. I take a multi vitamin each day. I am not stressed and not depressed (at all). I have no idea why i am running low on energy towards the end of the day as i am young fit and healthy and should be able to manage. Is there something im missing in my diet, or is my body just not able to maintain a busy lifestyle?

The vital difference between artificial and natural vitamin supplements is the source. While one is manufactured in a lab, the other comes straight from the bosom of nature. This is what was intended for the body.
